Original Fixtures, Faster Buildup
In many Sun City West homes the bathroom fixtures and the pipe behind them are original to the 1978 to 1997 build, so hair, soap film, and mineral scale collect against a rough interior faster than they would in newer plumbing. That is why a shower or basin here can slow noticeably within a year or two of the last clearing, even with normal use.
We clear the fixture, then confirm the line behind it is actually flowing rather than assuming the trap was the whole story. On a drain that keeps backing up we run a camera, because a recurring bathroom clog often points to a shared branch further down the line where a proper clear, not another trap cleaning, is what finally solves it.
